Simplifying Success
Connect your impression copings with wire or floss, and then add DuraLay or G-C Pattern Resin. Pick-up the entire unit in your fixture level impression.
- Use pick-up type impression copings only.
(The type with long screw pins through the top)
- Cut screw access into your impression tray.
- Let resin completely polymerize or it will distort.
DuraLay...20 minutes
G-C pattern resin...15 minutes
- Screw pins are removed before impression is removed.
When this technique is performed properly the metal try-in becomes a simple, fit confirmation appointment. This is a major savings in chair time and lab time, and that means less stress and lower costs.
