How
we do it right the first time
Each case at Killian Dental
Ceramics goes through an extensive administrative and technical Quality
Assurance & Quality Control (QC) process.
The doctor’s general case preferences are kept on file and attached to
each new case we receive. The
general preferences are updated from meetings, telephone conversations and any
feedback received from the doctor. Additionally,
the contents of each case are recorded upon arrival and verified to ensure that
they are returned to the doctor’s office along with the finished restoration.
The technical QC process is an all day activity involving Steve Killian, CDT as
he instructs technicians in the laboratory about all aspects of superior crown
& bridge and implant fabrication. Each
case that requires correction is used as an example for demonstration of proper
results. Verification of those
results is observed at several steps throughout the processing of the case and
at final completion. These photos
visually describe some of those steps.
